Photos: Where I Was, Where I Am Now....

Above in 2009 I weighed 285.  Today on October 15, 2010 I weigh 248.  This is a difference of 36 pounds!  Totally awesome!

On September 1, 2010 I weighed about 262.  October 15, 2010 I weigh 248, so 14 pounds different in these photos.

I probably weighed about 285 here.



So on the Take Shape For Life program, I have lost a total of 27 pounds. (Since August- 7 weeks worth.) This is really awesome.  And such a change from where I have been for the last 5 to 8 years!!!  In 2000-2001, I had lost a bunch of weight and was down to 200 pounds.  However, I only dieted and did not learn how to prepare healthy food and live a healthy lifestyle!

This time I am learning and practicing how to make healthy foods as I shed my excess weight.  Healthy meals are easy, tasty and desirable. There will not be another time after this weight loss journey.  I know how to keep the weight off and I will do it.  I am committed to living a healthier lifestyle so that my children will reap the benefits now while they still have a few years in my nest where I can teach and nurture them in a healthy manner.
