Snoring- What's the Silence or What Happened to the Nighttime Noise?

Snoring- 

Let's just say that for many years there have been two very noisy nightime/sleeptime snorers in our home.  Now for some weird reason, it appears that the snorers are not as noisy as they have been.  Hurray for us!

My kids love the fact that it is quiet at night, however they sometimes get nervous that maybe the lack of noise means that Hubby or myself have quit breathing.  That is weird coming from my kids.  They seem to be more concerned about me, as I have been the most active, noisy snorer.  "Mom are you OK?  You're not snoring. Are you breathing?"

So what are we doing?  Well let me tell you about me.  I have tried a mouth guard and that works, but my jaw doesn't like it.  My jaw is quite sore in the morning.  So I don't use it very often.  It seems to work.  I haven't used anything else.  So let's look at what I am doing right now.

I am eating healthier. That's it.  Plain and simple.  I have not yet begun to exercise.  I am not taking any new medications.  I am not doing anything different except eating every 2 to 3 hours, consuming 5 Medifast Meal Replacements and a healthy lean and green meal. This is all that is different.  

So, I can almost safely say that because I have changed the foods I am ingesting that my body is beginning to be healthier and some of my problems are being altered. My kids have been telling me for over two weeks that I am not snoring.  I didn't believe them at first.  Then Hubby confirmed it.  Oh, I occasionally do my snore thing I'm sure, but the frequency is so much less.  

Hubby just says that I am not snoring.  All I know for sure is that my snoring has changed and changed for the better.  This is a wonderful thing.

My knees feel better. I am not retaining as much water.  My morning blood sugars are more stable and consistently lower.  I have much more energy and stamina.  I have more enthusiasm for life and the projects I am involved in.  I have a great desire to make healthy Lean & Green meals.  

I want to gradually change the way I cook for my kids to ensure that they eat healthier and learn how to live a healthy eating lifestyle. I am studying the Habits of Health book and doing the workbook.  I am doing the work so that I can change my inferior habits and learn better healthy eating habits.  I want Health!!
